July 21st (Sun 4-6 pm) Colin Nevins (singer-songwriter)
AMERICANA FROM THE FOOTHILLS OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
A native to central New Hampshire, Colin Nevins has followed a passion for music as both a listener, absorbing a wide range of musical styles, and as a performer, playing in bands and honing his craft as a solo artist.
From an early age he was captivated by music and the power of a good song. Taking piano and saxophone lessons from his grandmother, and quickly moving to guitar by age twelve, Colin has been a long-time student of song craft.
Pulling inspiration from songwriting legends like John Prine, Blaze Foley, Gillian Welch, and Townes Van Zandt, Colin's songs tell stories about small town living, down-to-earth characters, and the duality of the human experience.
Skillful interpretations of classic rock, folk, blues, and outlaw country covers are paired with original songs that feature nuanced guitar playing and soulful, conversational vocals.
With a vast catalog of songs, each live performance is carefully curated to fit any environment – from smokey bourbon-buzzed bon fires, to crowded bars and listening rooms.
